The price was perfect and so far so good. This works great, I wish the cord were a little longer to reach into the chair when lounging and playing around with my phone, but other than that the charger is great. I purchased this as a spare charger for my downstairs area, and travel. I usually charge my iPhone on our computer or in the car, but needed something more portable for around the house. It's also good to stow in my purse and take along with me whenever I go on a short trip.
This product is cheaply made, you expect for it to last at least 5-6 months, but noooo, 3-4 days, and wall charger stopped working, with the piece stuck in the outlet.
The phone wouldn't stay attached to charger. I looked at my charger across the room and it was smoking. SO annoying2. STAY AWAY.
Last week however, was the end all, of end alls: I was laying in bed trying to fall asleep when I smelled something burning. I got this charger in Sept, and the very first time I used it, it had problems. More than half the charger was melted, and if I hadn't smelled it, it would've DEFINITELY started a fire. The charger made my phone go crazy. Charging my phone on my computer was so annoying. 1. It would press random buttons, call random people, etc. I had to prop it up in a certain position to get it to actually connect.3.
I am so lucky it didnt ruin my iPhone, but it could have easily burned down my house. I was so excited to get my charger. While having it plugged in, I couldn't text or use my phone. The red light at the base of the charger was bright and incredibly hotWhile all of these things sucked, this thing still charged my phone, so I dealt with them because the charger was cheap.
After two days of having the charge it broke when it fell to the floor, granted it was extremely inexpensive but I didn't think it would break falling to the floor.
When I first got mine, I thought that it didn't work at all. In my experience (sample size = 2), they will only charge the phone if the battery already has more than 50% charge or if the phone is off. The service was prompt.Overall, this charger works well for use at work after charging the phone at home at night. These chargers are a good deal if you are not buying them as your only source of charge for your iphone or ipod. It is very important to note that they do not provide enough current to charge the phone from an empty battery while the phone is on. I complained and the seller sent me another charger.
